Clark the Shark Reading Notes

I read Clark the shark. He loved his life and school.  He loved life sooooooooo much he could not control himself. He ate a lot. nobody would sit next to him. His teacher said to him “stay cool” and he did.  He stayed cool at recess and at lunch. His class saw a new kid acting not cool and Clark played with him.  Clark always remembered to stay cool by making a rhyme to remind him.  He taught the new kid the same trick.  The END!

  1. Brady,
You did a terrific job summarizing Clark the Shark. I think this book has a great message that I hadn’t thought about until I listened to it a few weeks ago. Clark has no idea he’s so bold and bothersome. His classmates also don’t understand that he’s not intentionally trying make thing hard and loud.
It’s a good book for empathy!
    Thanks for sharing your reading.
